about me

Hi, my name is Marlene Wolf and I'm originally from Berlin, Germany. I came into contact with the arts at an early age - growing up in a family of musicians, I received an education of classical violin, soon after that my interest for visual art was born. Between the ages of 10 and 21, I regularly attended the art classes of artist Ade Frey, which quickly turned art into the most consistent component of my interests and my life.

I've gathered experiences in various fields - theater makeup at the Stuttgart State Theater; fine arts (painting, drawing, sculpture, photography) at Kunstschule Von Erlenbach in Berlin; and set painting for the Vienna State Opera at the Art for Art Theaterservice GmbH in Vienna, Austria. Additionally, I learned various printing techniques and book binding in Leipzig, which is what I primarily work with now.

Since 2018, I offer workshops for bookbinding and stamp-cutting and -printing, as well as an open creative space, all within my project The Living Room.
